Cannabis-infused Hummus

The perfect dip with an extra kick

Cannabis Hummus Dip recipe is a classic dip that goes with almost anything – whether it’s vegetables, bread or as a side dish. When you add a cannabis infusion, it gets a relaxing, aromatic note that’s perfect for a chilled out break.

Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas (approx. 400g, well drained and rinsed)
  • 3 tbsp tahini (sesame paste)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (extra virgin)
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 garlic clove (crushed)
  • 1 tsp cumin (ground)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2-3 tbsp cannabis infusion (cannabis oil or butter, depending on preference)
  • Water (as needed for desired consistency)
  • Optional: paprika or fresh parsley for garnish

Preparation

Prepare chickpeas: Put the chickpeas in a food processor or blender. If you want an extra smooth consistency, you can peel the skin off the chickpeas, which is optional.
Add all ingredients: Add tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, salt and pepper. Start blending everything.
Mix in the cannabis infusion: Now add the cannabis infusion (cannabis oil or butter) and continue blending until the hummus is nice and smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick, you can gradually add a little water to reach the desired consistency.
Taste and adjust: Taste the hummus and adjust the seasoning to your liking. Want it spicier? Add some cayenne pepper or chili.
Garnish: Serve the hummus in a bowl and garnish with some paprika or freshly chopped parsley for the finishing touch.
Enjoy: You can enjoy the hummus with fresh vegetables, pita bread, or as a dip for your favorite snacks.

Important note: Since cannabis in food takes a while to take effect, eat slowly and patiently. Start with a small amount and wait to make sure you feel the desired effect.
